How many times a week should we attend classes?

In the beginning, most students train one to two days a week depending on the program. As students advance, more opportunities are available.

Do you offer group and private classes?

We offer both types of classes based on your schedule and instructor availability.

How many people are in a group class?

Class size can vary depending on the program and time of year. Most classes have anywhere from 15-30 students keeping a student to staff ratio of 10/1.

Will there be other beginners in my class?

Absolutely. Our schedules have classes designed just for the beginner student so they feel comfortable.

Do I have to sign up for a particular session?

No, we have ongoing registration and you could join in our program at any time.

Could we put our membership on hold if we are not around for the summer?

Anytime someone goes away on vacation or has an injury for more than a week, time can be added to their program as long as we are contacted ahead of time. Make up classes and special summers off programs are also available.

How often are classes?

We have classes available everyday for all students. So, pick the ones that best fits your schedule.

Will training be fun?

Absolutely, that is why UMAC is so successful, because we teach traditional martial arts with a fun, educational approach.
